ECB Opening Day Ceremony and Picture Day

Overview
On Saturday, April 5, 2014, ECBwill have an opening day event to recognize the beginning of playing games for the 2014 ECB Spring Season.
Bishop Photos will be taking team and player photos as well as an ECB Group photo of everyone there.
We will call each team, player and team sponsor and have them line up on the field.
After all the players are lined up we willplay the National Anthem.
(If you know someone who would like to sing the National Anthem, let us know.)
We will ask all Boy and Cub Scout players to assist us in the Flag Ceremony.
Prior to and after team introductions and National Anthem, kids will be able to play/compete in some games on the field, in the bull pens and in the batting cages, to include . . .
o Timed Base Running,
o Hitting in the Cages,
o Bull Pen Radar Gun,
o Outfield long toss.
During this time, we will have our concession stand open and have someone grilling burgers and hot dogs.We will also have aBake Sale(Cookies, Brownies, etc)for an additional fundraiser.If you would like to donate any baked items, contact Sherry at[email protected]so she can coordinate items for sale.
Swap Shop Donations: You can donate any new or gently used baseball items at PES concession stand.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
With everything going on, we will need several volunteers to help run concessions and events.This is a good opportunity for community service hours for any high school students you might know.
