Philosophy
The Ohio Galaxies FC program is founded on the principle of providing players with an athletic educational environment which will promote the development of their soccer skills, foster leadership and sportsmanship while promoting progressively challenging competition. Our goal is to give each player the athletic and problem solving abilities that will benefit them throughout life.

Coaching and Training Staff
Ohio Galaxies FC, Northern Warren County Alliance and the BSA Celtic Soccer Club of the Beavercreek Soccer Association work cooperatively in the implementation of a comprehensive player development based alliance for players in the u8 – u19 age groups. The NWC Alliance and BSA Celtic operate their own u8 - u14 youth programs but this alliance offers the opportunity for these youth clubs to develop their players collectively in the u15 and above age groups while taking advantage of the resources all three clubs have to offer.  By working together, the aim of the three programs is to offer players in the Celtic and NWC Alliance youth programs an opportunity to continue their high school soccer development with Ohio Galaxies FC. With integration of staff coaches and trainers across all three programs and a comprehensive curriculum designed for players in age groups from u8-u19, the players in the alliance network have a seamless transition from 6v6 to 8v8 to 11v11 to high school club soccer.
The aim of the Alliance network of Ohio Galaxies, NWC and Celtic is to maximize the impact of our experienced staff and extensive facilities to benefit all of our players.  With an emphasis on training and an eye on affordability, all three programs provide staff training to all of their teams on a weekly basis throughout the fall, winter and spring.
The coaching and training staff for Ohio Galaxies FC is one of the best in the area. Our training staff includes USSF licensed coaches, college coaches and coaches with extensive playing experience both at the collegiate and professional level. By utilizing staff coaches and trainers across all three programs, we offer players the advantages of continuity in training and also the challenges of varied training styles and personalities. By combining our resources, it also gives us the ability to focus on the needs of the player.  Our program is designed for the soccer player who is looking to expand his/her skill level and compete at a competitive level of play.
Training Facilities
Ohio Galaxies teams train at two of the finest soccer facilities in the Midwest: Athletes in Action and Ankeney Complex. With two full-sized synthetic turf soccer fields and an interchangeable, fully lit, football/soccer field, the AIA sports complex provides the Ohio Galaxies teams the opportunity to train effectively in the late fall and spring regardless of weather conditions. Ankeney Park serves as home field for league matches and provides the teams with excellent grass fields for training in the spring.
College Opportunities
Our program is designed to give the high school age player the opportunity to investigate and pursue opportunities to play soccer at the collegiate level and helps the student navigate the college soccer landscape, in order to determine the “best fit” for their level of play and their academic interests.

Leagues and Tournaments
Ohio Galaxies FC teams participate in a variety of leagues that are selected for the level of competition that is a best fit for each individual team. Ohio Galaxies FC teams participate in the Buckeye Premier League and the Midwest Regional League (MRL).  Ohio Galaxies FC teams typically play in 5 – 8 tournaments during the high school club season and participate in a winter indoor league.
Club Tournaments
Ohio Galaxies FC teams are invited to participate in three club sponsored tournaments each year, the Ohio Galaxies FC Showcase in March, and the Fall Showcase in November and the Creek Classic in June.
By hosting these tournaments, we are able to help our families offset some the cost of club soccer, while also giving our players the opportunity to participate in quality tournament events in their own backyard without the additional cost of travel.
Fees
Ohio Galaxies FC player fees typically range between $850 - $1250. The total fee is determined by the number and type of tournaments and leagues in which each team participates.

Club Communication

Ohio Galaxies FC communicates to our players and parents through a variety of means. The ohiogalaxiesfc.com website provides up-to-date information about events with the organization, as well as, a dedicated webpage for each team. The team webpage includes a team roster and players on each OGFC have the opportunity to post player profile information which can be a valuable tool for prospective college athletes. Each OGFC team has an onecallnow account to provide up to the minute updates to parents and players regarding team games and practices. Ohio Galaxies FC utilizes a Constant Contact email communication tool to provide regular updates to parents and players regarding club events and weekly training schedules throughout the club season. OGFC conducts monthly team administrator meetings throughout the club season to assist the team administrator and coach in team and club related issues regarding training sessions, leagues and tournaments.
