RUSH Wisconsin Soccer Club

Rush Camps

Rush Camps are a great way to have fun in the summer while addressing your individual soccer developmental needs. Camps will focus on the fundamental skills of the game and the application of those skills to the game.

Additionally, this year we are pleased to offer a special camp experience with the Dutch Soccer Academy program for our most committed players (see information below) and an exclusive camp series called the Rush Soccer Genius Technical Measurement Camp (see more information below).

Rush aims to build character and self-confidence, develop skills, and inject a life-long love for the sport of soccer. We utilize fun and creative games and activities that promote physical fitness and wellness.

Recreational and Youth Academy Camps

This is well suited to players who are interested in enhancing their technical skills. while participating in fun games and activities with our professional coaching staff. Developmentally appropriate and challenging activities are applied around specific daily themes like dribbling, passing and receiving, shooting and finishing, first touch. Players will also be combined to form teams and compete in mini games. The goal is to maximize fun by maximizing their touches on the ball.

Competitive Camps

Players in this stage have a special ability to develop technique and will be introduced to the various core fundamental skills required in the sport. 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, and 3v2 attacking and defending situations will be utilized to develop individual skills as well as the passing techniques to develop the necessary team game. Small-sided games will be used to develop basic attacking and defending principles. The small group tactics will focus on training possession, combination play, transition, and execution in the final third. Speed, coordination, balance and agility are the main physical aspects to be improved at this stage.

The Value of Rush Camps

Rush camps feature a progressive, age-specific technical curriculum based on our club’s philosophy, principles, and style of play. Each group will have specific objectives that will help players develop the ability to meet the various technical, tactical, and physical demands of the game. Player groupings will be determined by their age and ability level and will always seek to challenge the individual.
