About Us

Pacesetters II Track Club was founded in 2016 in Plainfield, Illinois by Coaches Chris and Kim Simon.  The club is sanctioned by the USA Track & Field National governing body, local Illinois Association for track and field, and AAU.  Our goal is a continued drive towards perfection.  We believe, and have demonstrated, it is possible to produce Nationally competitive athletes right here in Illinois and PIITC is determined to apply consistent methods of training practices to meet this goal.

In our first year as an Illinois track club, we had 20 plus team members qualify for advancement to the National Championships.  Of those able to attend, we had 7 All Americans across various events.  Additionally, one of the three high school senior team members joined the University of Iowa track team on scholarship.  We are extremely proud of all of our athletes and the support and engagement of their parents.  It takes all of us to have a great club!

PIITC is a respectful and organized club.  We strive to provide an environment for both the athletes and their parents in which they can rest assured they are receiving the appropriate level of training and club administration for their investment.

Coach Chris always says "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard."  We know there are many talented athletes in the Chicago land area.  We pride ourselves on being the club that fosters growth in athletic ability and moral character.
