The competition is open to all boys and girls age 14 and under. All participants compete together against each other in one of two age groups: 12U (12 year olds and younger) or 14U (13 & 14 year olds). A participant's age is determined as of July 17, 2017. Therefore, if a participant's date of birth is on or after July 18, 2004, he/she will compete in the 12U age group. If a participant's date of birth is July 18, 2002 - July 17, 2004, he/she will compete in the 14U age group.

How to Participate
Click on the link below to download the participant form. Please print, complete, sign and present at the event. Additionally, all participants must provide a copy of a valid birth document for age verification.

Competition Format
The competition is a 10-out format.  Any swing that does not result in a home run results in an out.  Every competitor will be given 10 outs.
In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker format will be a 5-Out Competition that can be repeated until a single champion is crowned in each division.
In the interest of time, no more than 2 consecutive balls can be pitched to a competitor without attempting a swing.  If a 3rd consecutive ball is pitched without a swing, then that ball will be counted as an out, and every other consecutive pitch after that, without a swing, will be counted as an out.
