Travis Wilson Joins Elite Academy FC

Elite Academy FC would like to personally welcome Travis Wilson, the current Red Springs High School coach, to our program for the 2019 season and beyond!

After a great meeting the other day, it was evident that Travis and our goals aligned perfectly, and the dream to create one great combined program in our area was there. With that said, we have decided to add Travis on to our staff in a leadership role, and he will now be the Executive Director of several programs within our organization.

His tremendous experience in the head coaching role, on both the girls and boys sides, will be very valuable to our program and all of our players, and initially this spring Travis will be supporting as an assistant coach on the U17 and U19 teams. Then in the Fall of 2019, plans are for Travis to take over as the U19 coach while Coach Martin will retain more of an administrative role within the organization helping as much as possible with the U19 teams.

There are also plans to help develop a girls program within Elite Academy FC, and Wilson will also be heading up that part of the organization among other responsibilities that are currently being discussed.

We again would like to thank Coach Wilson for supporting our cause and helping to bring together the Red Springs and St Pauls communities to provide one great program for all the kids in our areas, recreation all the way up through travel soccer programs.

It is vital that we all bond together to create something much greater for the players in our area, and with this collaborative effort between Coach Martin, Coach Garcia, and Coach Wilson, there will be a huge platform for all players to be able to shine that wouldn't have been possible if attempted alone.

Great things are coming for Elite Academy FC and all of our players during the 2019 season and we can't wait to see where this road leads.

With welcome arms, we welcome the Red Springs community and players to our program!
