Loudoun Soccer Park Spectator Viewing Policy and Reminders

In order to ensure the safety of our players, teams and spectators, and to maintain the continuity of both the practice and game schedule, the following policies have been implemented effective immediately:

Weekday Practice/Training Policy:
Only Loudoun Soccer players and coaches are permitted within the fenced-in turf area during weeknight practices, including GK, Striker and U7/8 Academies. All parents and other spectators must remain outside the fence at Loudoun Soccer Park; you may sit on the bleachers by Field 1, the picnic area near the garage, or stand around other areas outside the fence.
The coach will alert you if your child needs attention (medical or otherwise). You may meet your child at the gate immediately following their session.

Weekend and Weeknight Game Day Policy:
11v11 Games:
Field 1: Spectators should utilize the bleachers along the fence-line, which looks down at the field.
Field 2: Spectators may enter the fenced, turf area through the gate near Field 2 near the walk-way to the auxiliary parking lot. Spectators are to occupy the sideline parallel to Sycolin Rd, opposite their team’s bench, as per league rules.

7v7 and 8v8 Games:
Field 1AB: Spectators may enter the gate and view the match from within the fence, nearest the main parking lot, and opposite their team’s sideline as per league rules.
Field 1CD: Spectators may enter the gate and view the match from within the fence along the sideline farthest from the main parking lot, and opposite their team’s sideline as per league rules. Spectators must walk along the retention wall to access this area; they are not permitted to walk in between Fields 1 and 2.
Field 2AB: Spectators may enter the gate and view the match from within the fence, nearest the main parking lot, and opposite their team’s sideline as per league rules.
Field 2CD: Spectators may enter the gate and view the match from within the fence along the sideline farthest from the main parking lot, and opposite their team’s sideline as per league rules. Spectators must walk along the fence-line parallel to Sycolin Rd to access this area; they are not permitted to walk in between Fields 1 and 2.

U8 Academy Games:
Field #2: Spectators may continue to view games as in previous weeks.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:

No food is permitted on the turf; this includes seeds.
No gum or chewy candy is permitted at any time; both may become matted into the turf, which will become a greater problem as the temperature rises.
Only water is permitted on the turf; no Gatorade or sports drinks allowed.
Teams, players, coaches, and spectators are responsible for picking up any garbage from their areas and throwing them away; garbage cans are available in the main parking lot.
Multiple matches may be played simultaneously at Loudoun Soccer Park; players, coaches, teams, and spectators should be respectful of the matches taking place before theirs (avoid warm-up activities that infringe on space used for games), and should clear their fields immediately following their match to permit the next game to begin on time.
