FAQ’s
Q: What equipment does my child need?
A: Preschool & Grades K & 1st: Shin Guards are required, cleats are optional. Coaches will provide all balls needed for the season.
Grades 2nd-6th: Cleats and shin guards are required. Coaches will provide balls and goalie shirts needed for the season.

Q: What is the schedule for practices and games?
A: Fall 2023 starts on Monday, August 28th and will run every Monday and Wednesday evening through October 9th, except Labor Day, Monday, September 4th.
K & 1st will operate as a 30-minute practice and then a 30-minute game the entire season.
All games and practices will begin at 5:30PM.
*Please note that all coaches have the right to adjust end time and playing time based on what is best for their team.
Q: Can I coach even if I don’t know much about soccer?
A: Absolutely! We are always desperate for coaches. The only requirement is that you can pass a background check prior to the start of the season. There will be a coach meeting where drill ideas and rules will be shared.
Q: When will I know what team my child is on?
A: You will know your team placement prior to the season's start. If for some reason you do not hear what team your child is on, please come to the table set up on the fields on Monday, August 28th and someone will direct you.
Q: Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns?
A: During the season, your coach will be the first point of contact. They can then relay the information to a board member. If further contact is needed, please email [email protected] or private message us on Facebook and a board member will get back with you.
Q: Do practices and games ever get cancelled because of weather?
A: Unless there is lighting, we try to play as usual. Unfortunately, since this is Michigan, it sometimes can be unpredictable. A decision to cancel will be made by 5:00PM the night of, if the weather is not safe. You ultimately know what is best for your child, as far as attending or not, but please know that a team is depending on them.
