Dear Supporter of East Side Babe Ruth,
The temperature may be dropping, but baseball season is just around the corner! Once again, East Side Babe Ruth asks for your partnership for the 2016 season. We want to thank you for your support of our baseball programs in past years as your sponsorship has been crucial in enabling our organization to operate in today’s economy. Your generous sponsorship dollars have provided an opportunity for children in our community to learn the game of baseball, the value of teamwork, leadership skills, and the responsibilities of being on a team.
In past years, the funds raised from sponsorships has helped us cover the cost of offering scholarships to those in our community who may not be able to afford our programs, uniforms, umpires, equipment, , field maintenance and various other costs associated with a quality program such as clay, lime, chalk, temporary bases and new equipment each year. Our plans for 2016 include utilizing other fields in our community to increase the number of games played.
Our goal is to keep our participant fees as low as possible, so we must rely on you, our sponsors, to help us operate. Our organization annually spends close to $3,000 on uniforms, $2,500 for balls and baseball equipment, better than $8,000 in wages for field maintenance and umps, $5,000 for insurance and league fees. This makes you a very necessary and integral part of our program.
Again, we are seeking your sponsorship for our Little League programs. Listed below are your sponsorship options. Please use the back of this page to inform us what option(s) you have selected and what league/team you wish to sponsor, if any.
Option #1: Team Sponsorship - $400.00
Option #4: League Sponsorship - $750.00 (2 available)
- Company name placed on the sleeve of all the jerseys in the league.
- Recognition on East Side Babe Ruth website with linked company logo.
Option #5: Monetary or Material/Services Donation
Money may be donated to help provide scholarships, repair and maintain fields, upgrade and maintain equipment, pay registration and insurance fees, etc. You may designate where your donation should be used. We also welcome the donation of materials and services, such as: tools, grass seed, lime, gasoline, clay, mowing, snack shack supplies, repairs, etc…
