November 2019 Newsletter

Our fall season has been going great! We have seen a rise in memberships as well as a rise in participants in our programs and exercise classes.

New this session is our Tuesday evening rotating group exercise class. Each Tuesday this session, at 5:30pm we have a different class and different instructor so our participants can get a sample of our popular group exercise classes. The schedule is listed on our website here.
Indoor Cycling is beginning again starting THIS Saturday at 7:00am. You can either buy a punch card or pay a drop in fee. More information and ordering online can be found here.

Lake Mills's Rec Department's Club 55 has moved into our center this week. The program is held in our Fort Health Care room Monday-Thursdays 10:30-3:30pm. This program is free of charge and open to any person age 55 and older. We are very excited to welcome the senior center here!

Our annual Tour of Homes is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th from 11am-3pm. Tickets will be available to pre-order soon off our website. Information is coming in on our confirmed homes, so our website will be updated with photos and information on the houses on this years tour soon! We can always use some volunteers for at the homes, so if you are interested let Susan know at [email protected]

So far this season our registrations have been filling up within a day of opening. Make sure to join our different facebook class groups to make sure you are receiving the notices of when registration is open so you do not miss out signing up your child! We also post on our website and send out an email through our registration program formally Blue Sombrero, now Sports Connect.

We have been adding to our partner events at RLAC this season as well, check out our website to see when Zumba classes with Kelly are and a new tot play area opening up in December in our building through Play your Heart Out with our very own Rene Wedel.

With the snow a reminder that our closure policy for office hours, tot spot, and our programs is the same as the Lake Mills School District. If LMSD cancelled school due to weather, we will also be closed. If LMSD cancels all after school activities, we will also close our after school hours programs, classes, and office hours. If there is a delayed start, we will follow that as well. We have found that it is the best way to ensure the least amount of confusion.
