Alex Vandegrift Selected For ODP

Mako Soccer Club's Alex Vandegrift has been selected for the Region III 1999F-AL ODP State team.

Alex was one of 54 players selected throughout the state for the 1999 Florida Youth Soccer Association Olympic Developmental Program; which identify's men and women players for the United States youth National Teams. Alex was selected for the Alabama team and will be headed to the Region III camp in Alabama in the summer.

The region III camp is held during July for the boys and girls. The 1996-2000 boys and girls will travel as state teams to the Region III camp. The Region III Camp is where players are identified to Region III pools and teams. Region III is comprised of the 12 state associations in the southeast that include Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina. The camp consists of training, presentations, and games versus other states.

Mako Soccer Club congratulates Alex on her selection and is extremely proud of the hard work and dedication that she put in to be selected.
