Ball Program Notes

We still need players to fill the 13-15YO recreation divisions for baseball and softball. We had a couple of days where the registration expired so it has been reopened (www.brentwoodballclub.com). We hope to fill our one 13-15YO softball team and then we just need a few more players for the multiple baseball teams we will have at these ages. Roster setting has not started for baseball at this age.

Schedules for 4/5YOs to 11/12YOs for the baseball recreation divisions will be ready this weekend. Schedules will initially be shared as an attachment and then downloaded to the website.

The weather will decide at some point to cooperate with us. In the interim, cages and the outfields at Civitan Park are usually useable for some light work outs even when the infields are not.

For the field status at Civitan Park, we tweet (@BwoodCivitan) and we update our field status link on our website although we (I) fell asleep on that yesterday due to business travel. We are looking at some website changes this evening so we may make additional changes.

Baseball Recreation Teams (12YO and younger) - just one representative - will be asked to pick up uniforms Saturday morning. We will communicate separately to head coaches on that.

And, Amy Cauthon will be running our concessions stands this spring. We are excited to have her do that. We will have concessions open at Civitan Park and at Crockett Park.
