• The park is 24 acres in size.

• The boat ramp is open from dawn until dusk and is free to the public.  Boats up to approximately 40 feet that are towed by a private vehicle can be launched at the boat ramp.

• Various fire and rescue departments use the boat ramp for water safety as well as rescue training. 

• The Middle River Recreation Council holds special events at the park, such as council picnics and annual awards parties. 

• Special events held annually at the park include:

               Stansbury Yacht Basin’s Parade of Lighted Boats

               MSSA Fishing Tournament for Children

       Baltimore County Police Marine Unit demonstration day

• Fishing is allowed on the water off of the park. Under the age of 16 does not require a fishing license.  Over 16 does. String crabbing is permitted at the park without the license.  If you are using any type of a collapsible trap, a license is required.

• Restrooms are locked at 7 pm (Beginning Mid-September, 6 pm)

• There is no alcohol permitted, no moon bounces, inflatable devices, DJ’s, nor amplified music/sound of any type, or torches.

• Pavilions

There are 3 pavilions for the public to utilize. 

Each pavilion has ample picnic tables to accommodate 50 to 100+ people depending on the pavilion dimensions.  
There are charcoal grills and electric outlets for your convenience.

Park pavilion rentals are from 10 am to 7 pm, 7/days week

Last rental begins at 2 pm (Beginning Mid-September, 1 pm)

        More than one pavilion can be rented by the same group (if needed)

        Pavilions are not guaranteed to be available on Memorial Day, Independence Day or Labor Day

*You must include your set up and clean up time needed in your rental time frame

        To obtain a permit to reserve a pavilion for an event, call 410-887-0234 from February through October. 

Pavilion A

               Holds up to 40 to 50 persons
               2 charcoal grills
               Electric outlet
               Trash Barrel

               Price is $80 (Pavilion fee) + $90 (5 hour minimum for park attendant)
               For each additional hour add $18 per hour (per park attendant only)

Pavilion B 

               Identical to Pavilion A
               Located adjacent (closest) to the playground

       Price is $80 (Pavilion fee) + $90 (5 hour minimum for park attendant)
               For each additional hour add $18 per hour (per park attendant only)

Pavilion C

Holds up to 100 persons
2 charcoal grills
Electric outlet

Price is $100 (Pavilion fee) + $90 (5 hour minimum for park attendant)
