Opening Weekend

Jaguars Team Parents

Just wanted to give a couple updates for the opening weekend.

Meet & Greet
Remember that our meet and greet is on this Sunday @ 2:30 pm. We will be at the Canton Softball Center on field #4.
At this meeting there's a couple of item we must complete, and a couple additional items I would like to add
Must Items:
- Distribute Jerseys / Flag Belts and collect signed forms (Parents Pledge / Code of conduct, Waiver, and Concussion form)
Want items:
- Introduce the coaching staff, give a quick overview for the season and what to expect (like a parent's survival guide) and hopefully address any inital questions / concerns

Practice #1
Immediatley following the meet and greet will be our 1st practice (same field location) @ 3pm
For this 1st practice I want to start w/ some basic items:
Offensive skills
- Refreshing the kids on the fundamentals for running an offensive play
(Line up in their start positions, CTR x QB snap, QB x RB handoff, QB Pass to WR)
Defensive skills
- Defensive positions & Flag pulling
And I'd like to spend the remainder of practice conducting an inner team scrimmage
- Just to give the kids some game type experience prior to our 1st real game next week
