In 2004, Lake Central parents organized the Lake Central Boys Basketball Club. The club was created to provide an opportunity for elementary and middle school basketball players to develop their skills within a more competitive environment. This program has been recognized as one of the premier basketball programs in the states of Indiana and Illinois.
