BSA Kicker's Program Information
This program is designed for our youngest players!
Due to the new guidelines set by US Soccer, all of our programs are based on the child’s birth year.
Equipment for all Ages:
Mini Kickers- This program is held in the summer months for our youngest soccer players. Summer 2024, 6-week outdoor session will take place Tuesday evening from 5-7pm. This session will be open to boys and girls born in 2020-2021. All parents will be notified of time their child is playing the week before.
Summer 2024 season will take place Tuesday evening from June 4th-July 9th (NO SOCCER JULY 4th)

Practices:
Tuesday nights from 5:15 PM - 7:00 PM
2021's will be from 5:15 PM - 6:00 PM
2020's will be from 6:15 to 7:00 pm.
Cost: $65.00
Equipment: Cleats, shin guards, Size 3 ball, water bottle. Will be given a grey shirt.
Fall and Spring Soccer 2024/2025 - Our Academy program is designed as a pre-travel program. This 2024-2025 Fall/Spring program is open to boys and girls born in 2017-2020
Players will have a 1-hour training session during the week. The coach will determine the day of practice. Saturday mornings they will play 4 v 4 games to show off what they have learned. Boys and girls will play at Hopkins Park on Saturday morning during the times of 9AM-3PM.
The emphasis is not on winning and losing at this age instead the focus is on getting lots of touches on the ball and learning from experienced coaches.
This program is focused on having the players get as many touches on the ball as possible and learning, not winning and losing. We also build their confidence by having no goalies. The players will score more, which will make them more confident and have more fun.

Fall 2024: Practices start the week of August 7th. The first game will be August 12- October 7th (No Soccer Labor Day Weekend).
Training sessions will take place once per week at Hopkins Park located in Brunswick, Ohio. Training day will be determined by the coach and will last 1 hour. Possible Picture Day September 9th.

Winter Indoor Kickers - Our 2024 Indoor Kicker’s session are on Saturday mornings. We will have 2, 6-week sessions that will take place at the Hoop Guru off 1669 W130th street in Hinckley. This will be open to boys and girls born in the years 2015-2020.
All of our Winter Indoor Kicker’s sessions are 1 hour in length with the first 45 minutes a skill-based training to develop basic skills and improve coordination. The session ends with a 15 minute, 4 v 4 game to show off what they have learned. Our session times are TBD. All parents will be notified the week before with the time their child is playing.
Winter Session 2024/25: Practices begin TBD.
Players will need shin guards, a size 3 or 4 soccer ball, a water bottle, and indoor shoes. (Any sneakers will work, too!) Cleats cannot be worn indoors at the Hoop Guru.
