The West Babylon Soccer Club launched a TOPSoccer program beginning in the fall 2014 season.  The TOPSoccer program is geared towards children with special needs.  There are approximately 40 clubs on Long Island that participate in the program and our club is proud to join the list.
     The West Babylon Promise is the first TOPS (The Outreach Program for Soccer) soccer team trained and hosted by the West Babylon Soccer Club.  This is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable these young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family. There are approximately 40 TOPS clubs that participate in the program.  Additional program features are:

·        One on one training with a soccer buddy.

·        30-40 minutes of training and 15-20 minute game on Saturday afternoons.

·        Fun events for example, picnics with other clubs and other soccer events.

·        All volunteers are certified through Eastern NY Soccer TOPS program.

·        Low cost registration fee subsidized by Long Island Junior Soccer and Eastern NY.  $25 registration fee. Uniforms free.

·        A place for parents to enjoy the outdoors while their children are engaged in training.
