Fundraisers and Obligations

Per, SACBC AA Policy, AA Members are required to participate in various fundraisers and obligations. The AA recognizes that personal conflicts may interfere will fulfilling all duties and will take all situations under consideration.  However, the success of the organization depends on the contributions of each and every member.  Failure to participate may result in exclusion from tournaments or expulsion from the SACBC AA, subject to the board’s decision.

Athletic Association Sunday Service
-Each member shall attend the annual Athletic Association Sunday Service.  If the player is unable to attend on the specified date they must attend an alternate service prior to being allowed to participate in league games.  Teams will be notified of date of the AA Service.

League Game Assistance
-Families provide help with duties such as time and score keeping, gym set up and cleanup for your team during the season.  This schedule should be provided by your respective team managers.

SACBC Bingo Clean Up
-Held on Friday evenings from approximately 10:30pm to 11:30pm
-Approximately two clean-up sessions per season

Hanamatsuri Tournament
-There are a variety of duties throughout the tournament.
-The tournament is usually held in mid-March and spread over two weekends. 
-This includes supporting tournament brackets outside your child(ren)’s team.

Hanamatsuri Tournament Program Ads
-Each player is required to sell advertisements for the tournament program.  The minimum requirement will be determined by the tournament committee but has typically been $75-$150 per player.

Church Bazaar
-There are various duties supporting the bazaar, which may include (but not limited to) manning a booth, help with cooking duties, etc.  -The bazaar is usually the 2nd weekend of July.
