2020 Season Cancelled

The SVYC reluctantly announces the cancellation of our 2020 season.

Our member teams all worked hard to overcome the challenges of covid and to prepare for this season. We wanted nothing more than to give the kids this opportunity considering all that they have lost thus far. Our intentions were always to proceed.

Recently, however, it has become very clear how irresponsible it would be for us to push forward this year. Tonight, our board voted 6-2 to forgo this season.

This is a huge disappointment for our kids, our coaches, and all the volunteers who put so much effort into keeping everything going. Please be patient with your team's board as they determine how to handle this situation.

Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you all for the 2021 season.
