1. Q: When are players assigned to a team?
A. Following the registration deadline, the Player Agent, along with the coaches, will conduct a draft to assign players to teams.
2. Q: When will I hear what team my child was assigned to?
A. After the
draft, coaches will call or email families to notify them of what team
they have been assigned to. They will provide you information about
practice times and locations. It is important to note that each coach
sets the practice schedule for their team.
3. Q: I have not been contacted by our team manager, what do I do?
A. Not all
teams begin practice at the same time, so you may not have missed any
activity. If you have not been contacted by April 1st, please contact
your player agent.
4. Q: What will my child need to participate?
A. Your child
should be prepared to bring cleats, a glove and a water bottle to all
games and practices. Batting helmets and bats will be provided by the
league but most players like to bring their own. Pants should be worn to
all practices, especially at the older ages where players will be
sliding.
5. Q: How often are practices and games?
A. You will be
provided a practice and game schedule by your team manager. The amount
of practices and games as well as the days played may vary from week to
week.
6. Q: I missed the registration deadline. Can I still register my child to play?
A. Registrations after the final deadline will not be
accepted. It takes a lot of work to organize and schedule the teams for
the season. The league, itself, has deadlines that it has to meet in
order to have the season run properly. Adding players too late into the
process greatly impacts the entire league's operations. Please be aware
of the registration dates and deadlines. If you are unable to attend one
of the three in-person registrations you may register your child
online.
