Question:  How much are the registration fees?

Answer:  Registration fees by age group are listed below:

Farm League (5 and 6) - $125.00
Farm League (7 and 8) - $125.00
Minor League (9 and 10) - $140.00

Question: What days and times are games and practices?
Answer:

We try to make sure all games are played on  a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday.  Rookie League games are not played during the week.

We do our best to make sure only 2 games are played a week but sometimes the weather forces us to change those plans.  Games typically start at 6 PM for the 5/6 and 7/8 age group and 7:30 PM for older age groups during the week. On the weekend, games can start as early as 9 AM and as late as 4 PM.  A lot of factors go into scheduling games and we do our best to make sure games are played as early as possible on the weekends.

Question: Why is my child in the age group above what they just played in the spring?
Answer:

Fall season we promote and encourage the coaches to build and work on baseball fundamentals. Since we do not keep records of wins and losses this is a great time to learn the new rules and possible change to kid pitch.  We put the kids in their respective age group as they would be playing in the spring.  This helps them prepare for any transition prior to the competitive spring season.  Everyone will be playing in their assigned age group in the fall as they would for the upcoming spring season.  On April 30th 2018- your child’s age will determine their age group.  This means if they played 8u for 2018 spring, they will move up to 9u for the fall 2018 and spring 2019.

Question:  Do you have any kind of payment plans or scholarship programs?

Answer:  Yes. We are an organization that is here to have the kids play. If you need to arrange a payment plan or scholarship please send an email to [email protected] prior to the date and time of your child's assessments and a director will get back to you as soon as possible on the options available.

Question:  How many games will we play?

Answer: This varies based on age group. The 3/4 Rookie league will be scheduled for approximately 6 games. All older age groups will be scheduled for 10 games including an end of the season single elimination tournament. During fall ball we will reschedule rain out games, but we will not be extending the season past the scheduled end date. We will do our best to reschedule any rain-outs without extending the season end date.

Question:  Where are the games played?

Answer:  We have fields at Mt. Road Elementary School and Sequoyah Park. Rookie League (ages 3 and 4) thru Minor League (ages 9 and 10) can play at either location. Freshman League (ages 11 and 12) thru Sophomore League (ages 13 and 14) will play games at Sequoyah Park. We sometime "Play In" with other parks in the area so you may play at other parks in the area for away games. This is based on the size of the age group and if it is beneficial for the parks to partner in this effort to benefit the kids of the county.

Question:  What is included in our registration fees?

Answer:  The registration fees cover the purchase of the players’ uniform (outlined below per age group) and the costs to provide a regular season games and end of season tournament.

Question:  Can my child play up an age group?

Answer:  Players can request to play up one age group from their assigned age group. This will need to be requested using the request to play up process that is outlined in the registration confirmation email you will receive during the registration process. The Board of Directors recommends that all players play in their assigned age groups, but understands that may not be the best thing for all players and situations.

Questions:  Can we request to be on the same team as another non related player?

Answer:  Yes you can request to be on the same team as another non related player. This is a request and is NOT guaranteed by the league and is discussed with the coaches of the age group prior to the team draft.
