Parkside Little League Seeking Board Volunteers

Fall brings many things: the changing colors of leaves, pumpkin spice-flavored everything, Halloween, and, of course, the World Series. It is also the time when Parkside attracts and elects new board members.

Parkside Little League is entirely managed and run by volunteers. From player recruitment, the game scheduling, to the uniforms, to the snack shack–it’s all powered by board volunteers.

The League is in solid shape financially, but we urgently need volunteer leadership for the year ahead. We’re looking for 8-10 new board members to help us cover all the bases and make this another great year of baseball.

There are many critical roles that need your attention. For the most part, you don’t need any special skills–just enthusiasm, energy, and time. (How much time varies depending on the role and certainly scales-up right before and during the season.)
