Hello Parkside Fall Ball Families,

We’ve reached the end of our Fall Baseball season and we hope your player had a fantastic experience. Whether they were getting their first taste of Minors-level or turning double plays in the Majors, we loved seeing everyone out on the field!

As we start planning for our Spring 2026 season, we’re looking for a few more people to join the Parkside Little League Board of Directors. The board is an all-volunteer body, that keeps our league running — organizing teams, planning events, maintaining fields, and making sure every kid has a fun, safe season.

The League is in a great position and primed for future growth. We are financially sustainable, have great community partners, and have seen solid growth in participation. And' we’ve got big plans for the future – we just need some passionate people to help us reach our full potential.

We have a few leadership positions where there is urgent need for support

• Treasurer: Are you a numbers person? The treasurer, in collaboration with the League Co-Presidents, helps manage the budget, record revenue, pay vendors and file taxes. (Estimated work per month: ~5 hours)
  
• Equipment Manager: Help inventory the gear, purchase new equipment, and make sure our teams have everything they need to compete. (Estimated work per month: ~5 hours–mostly in March/April and August/September)
  
• Safety Manager: Makes sure that our teams are equipped with first aid supplies and that coaches have the necessary safety trainings (Estimated work per month: ~3 hours)
  
• Communications, Marketing & Information Officer: Coordinates league-wide communication, creating simple digital assets using Canva templates to keep families informed and engaged. (Estimated work per month: ~4 hours)
  
  

While it’s not a a leadership role, we’re also seeking:

• Volunteer Photographer(s): Capture the spirit of Parkside throughout the season — taking photos (and short videos, if possible) at games, practices, and events. (Estimated work per month: ~3 hours)
