Mini Falcons Day Camp

June 20-24, 2021
3rd & 4th Grades

The Mini Falcons Day Camp is geared towards young players who want quality instruction on the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun safe environment.  This camp strives to develop global coordination through the avenue of lacrosse. We focus on the development of both basic skills and general IQ development on the game of lacrosse; but the benefit of attending this camp is that we meet each camper at his skill level, and make sure they leave knowing more.

We believe that kids this young should still be exposed to all positions of the game. Consequently, we will be teaching them the fundamentals of each position. Helping them grow a love and appreciation for the game as a whole, while they find where they most fit on the field. We want to help young kids begin to develop fundamental elements of coordination ie. balance, rhythm, spatial orientation, and the ability to react to both auditory and visual stimulus. Lacrosse is a dynamic sport and presents children with the ability to continue to grow and develop through a wide range of drills and speeds in a constantly changing environment.

All staff are highly qualified YOUTH instructors.

Campers will be challenged to understand the basic "flow" of lacrosse and will be introduced to catching, throwing, ground balls and other basic playing concepts.
Campers will also have multiple opportunities to work 1-on-1 with coaches, during break-out sessions.
