Montclair Little League mission is to provide a healthy environment for the youth of our communities. Our focus is to

encourage participation, develop character and discipline, promote teamwork, and advocate citizenship and community pride. Our league is operated 100% by community volunteers; we depend greatly on our community's participation. We strive to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball skills, sportsmanship competiveness and fair play and

abide by all Little League principles. Montclair Little League is committed to enriching the lives of our youth and fostering a love of the game.

Montclair Little League prides itself in our community relationships. Our communities’ contributions have allowed

us to continue to provide no cost and low cost baseball to the Montclair Community and purchase the essential

equipment needed to run a successful baseball program. Montclair Little League currently has the lowest

registration fees in the region allowing our community children the opportunity to play at a low cost, we also provide hardship sponsorships so children can play for free and this is something that we hope to continue to provide along with the help of our community.

Every year the Montclair Little League Board has the difficult task of prioritizing our expenses to be able to start

our season. The general necessities like equipment, uniforms and insurances can be quite costly, and continue to

escalate. The cost for each child is $58.00 for season play; we house 250-to 300 youths on average 25% are on

financial assisted play. At Montclair Little League, No Child is turned away and definitely not because of their financial need, we feel that every child deserves the opportunity to feel accepted. This is our top priority to

welcome every child to our league. Unfortunately, this comes at a sacrifice in other areas. We have not been able to purchase new equipment for several years; our equipment is aged and is in dire need of improvement. And our fields require some much-needed renovation. We hope to be able to provide our youth the best of equipment that

will help them have a sense of pride as they take the field. Field safety is of upmost importance to us as we host the Challenger League at our home parks.

We depend greatly in our local businesses, sponsors, and fundraising to be able to accomplish our goal. We

depend on our community relationships to help us make every season a memorable one. We hope that this is the

commencement of an inspiring alliance and together we can continue to provide Americas Greatest Past Time Baseball with pride to our community.
