LEVEL 1:  LEAGUE RULES

LEVEL 2: LEAGUE RULES

6 ININNING OR 1HR.30 MINUTES WHICH EVER COMES FIRST

60 FOOT BASES

46 FEET PITCHING MOUND

84’10’ FOR CATCHER TO SECOND

All players must play a minimum of six (6) defensive outs over no more than two (2) innings in a regulation game. Exceptions are granted for injured or ejected players. Free substitution for players other than the pitcher is in effect. If a game is shortened due to inclement weather or other clauses and a player does not get to play (6) six defensive outs this rule does not apply

Each team will have continuous batting. The batting order may not be changed once the game has started. Late arrivals must be placed at the bottom of the batting order. No late arrival may enter the game after the completion of the first rotation of the batting order. Only 5 runs per inning will be allowed, unless the play results in additional runs. For example you have scored 3 runs for the inning and two batters are walked. The third batter up hits a homerun thus scoring 3 more runs. Resulting in 6 runs for the inning and sides will then change.15 run mercy rule will be in affect after 3rd inning

The infield fly rule will be in effect. It is in the judgment of the umpire and CANNOT be questioned by the coaches or they will be ejected immediately

The catcher must wear a protective cup. The catcher must wear a mask with throat protector at any time he is receiving pitches. Helmet cages and mouth pieces are optional equipment to be considered. Metal cleats are not allowed.

Pinch runner for pitcher and catcher with 2 outs is mandatory.

A team may use a courtesy runner for the pitcher and catcher at any time in the inning. A courtesy runner must be someone who is not currently in the game and may appear only once in an inning. If a courtesy runner is determined to be illegal, a legal replacement (if available) will be substituted.

On a dropped 3rd strike, the catcher has to throw out batter-runner or tag him.

Pitchers that pitch 3 innings in one day must take a mandatory 2 days rest. If a pitcher would pitch 3+ or more innings in one day, he will not be allowed to pitch in the next league game. Pitchers can pitch up to 3 innings in two consecutive days.

All balks will be called. No warnings will be given.

Bunting is allowed, except no bunts of any kind with a runner on 3rd base. When batter shows bunt he must bunt. If he pulls the bat back and swings, the batter will be called out. No runners will be allowed to advance.

BAT THROWING: Batters may not throw the bat. The umpire will give one warning per game per team to the coach. On the second and subsequent occurrences, the batter’s turn will be over and an out will be recorded
