Idaho Rush competitive 2009 and 2008 boys and girls took over the town of McCall, Idaho, and more specifically Pilgrim Cove Camp for the weekend of August 9-10-11. Over a 110 players began the weekend began with the famous cross country run and team building activities on Friday night. A classroom session run by Camp Director Olly Frick focused on the Rush Core Values, with field sessions ran by Rush technical staff. Saturday evening was topped off by full field scrimmages.
One of the highlights is the culminating coed 4v4 tournament on Sunday morning. This year’s tournament did not disappoint the early morning crowd of parents that came to cheer the campers on, both championship games went to overtime before deciding a winner. (click here for list of event winners). Of course, the best part of camp is the camaraderie enjoyed between teammates, coaches and chaperones.
