This Ogden Bears Pee Wee team coached by Scott Vara, Coach Darryl, Rick DiMaria, Russ Marino and Steve Alvarez had a Regular season record of 5 Wins and 2 Losses and an overall record of 6 Wins and 4 Losses. Their two losses during the season were by a total of two points a 14-13 loss on opening day to fairport and a 7-6 loss against Southside. They were runners up in the TOMLIN DIVISION, they lead their division in scoring and were second in points against. They avenged their one point loss to fairport week 7 in an exciting 28-19 victory at Paetec Park. In the playoffs some costly mistakes led to a 14-6 loss to Southside in the championship game. They then played a State qualifier against 10th Ward where they lead 6-0 at halftime but dropped a heartbreaker 13-6. This was a very successful season and with a couple bounces going the right way who knows where this team could have gone. Southside and 10th Ward both advanced to the championship games in the Regionals and States. This team was built with a lot of hard work and dedication from the coaches and players alike, hopefully they will give it another run at the next level.
