Parents Education and Players Homework
It is crucially important that coaches communicate to their parents that they should be reinforcing with their players what is being taught in practice, and work with them several days a week outside of practice and game days.
The following items are important concepts to review and work on with players as early as age 4 (as applicable), but continuing on up all the way through their high school years.
· Review the game rules and positions
· Proper Base Running mechanics
· Proper hitting mechanics-25-50 Repetitions, Twice a Week
· Proper catching & fielding mechanics- 25-50 Repetitions, Twice a Week
· Proper throwing and pitching mechanics- 25-50 Repetitions, Twice a Week
