Idaho Rush SOccer Club

It means a lot to me to be able to represent my club, Idaho Rush. I'm very lucky to be able to have this opportunity and to get the chance to play with many talented players from across the nation. Rush has offered me so many opportunities, especially being apart of Rush Select program. When I go down to Arizona in February, overall, I am looking forward to the level of play and the experience from the weekend.

It make me feel feels good that the coaches noticed me and that they see good things in me. If I work hard, I think that Select 11 could be a good pathway to other opportunities and maybe even a higher level soccer. I like the coaches because they are positive with me even though I made some mistakes, which was a big denominator for me. I am very appreciative to have the opportunity to represent Rush.  I’m looking forward to competing in upcoming events with the team and spending time with the other players.  I am very excited to have this experience.

For me to be have been selected to be in the National Rush Select team is really good, it makes me feel proud of myself and proud of all the hard work I’ve done through my soccer career. I feel like every time I get seen by other coaches of selected to go to trips is one step closer to becoming a pro I am very thankful for my coach Lee for believing in me and always getting me to get better.

I am Samantha Wind and I play on the 04 Idaho Rush Premier.  Recently I have been chosen to represent my club with the Rush Select National Team. I am very honored to be selected to participate with Rush Select and I know it is a special opportunity because I am not only representing myself, but my club and my teammates as well.  As one of the captains of my team I always try to push and encourage my teammates to play hard in training and games, but honestly I am thankful because they push me harder and provide even more encouragement back. Being given the opportunity to play along side other Rush players from all over the country, I only wish that I will learn many more things from playing with them and use them to up not only my own game but the others around me as well. 

My ability to represent Idaho Rush on the Rush National Select Team makes me want to strive to do my very best both on and off the field. The ability to represent Idaho makes me want to work harder and to show everyone the competitive level at which Idaho Rush players are able to compete. I love the opportunity to connect with players and coaches from other states and countries. This is an opportunity that allows me to make life long friends.

I have been playing soccer with the Rush program since I was 6 years old.  The experience of playing for Rush has helped me grow in many ways.  I have always been called a quiet and shy girl but playing for Rush has helped my confidence grow and is bringing out various other traits that will help me as I mature.  Playing with the Rush Select team has just given me another opportunity to learn, grow and play with some amazing girls.  I know this experience will help me as a soccer player but will also help me grow as a person. I am honored to have been chosen to play for Rush Select at Nationals and will do my best to portray the Rush values in everything I do and will always give a 110%.

In July of 2017, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a camp called rush fest. While I was there, I got to experience a new intensity and level of play that I simply couldn’t get in Boise, Idaho. On top of all of the fun I had, I got to be seen by coaches from all around the nation. This is how I was invited to play at the national level on the rush select team. When I found out, I was ecstatic. In tears, even. Of course, I was excited to travel and get to play with new people, but that certainly wasn’t the most exciting thing for me. For me, this means so much more. To experience the sport I love a whole new level, and to get to do that with some of my best friends by my side is incredible. This means that my level of play will skyrocket, and for that I am so grateful. So sure, the status of the rush national team is pretty great and all but the deeper meaning is so much more important

Having the opportunity to represent Idaho rush at the national level is a huge honor, and definitely something I will never take for granted. being able to play with the top players from around the United States is honestly such an amazing learning experience something that can never be replicated. Its such a great felling to know your representing not only your club but also your home state. Its a feeling that I will never forget. I couldn't be here without all the people who have helped me improve not only as a player but also as a person throughout the years. So thank you.

To be invited to the Rush National team is an important part of my life that will improve my soccer skills. I will go to Arizona with full confidence and give it my all. Not only is soccer a very big part of my life but so are my parents and club Rush. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the Rush National team, I am going to go out there and represent Idaho Rush.

Being picked to play for the Rush Select national team feels like a tremendous accomplishment. Positive thinking, always trying to play at maximum intensity, and purposeful preparation have payed off. I'm excited to see how well players from all over the country can adapt and connect with each other. It's an honor to represent Idaho Rush at such a prestigious level. I plan to do my best to live up to the expectations and perform in the positions I'm placed in. I'm grateful for this opportunity. 

To be selected for the Rush Select is a real honor and it is very excited to be playing with the best players around the united states. I'm also very excited to represent Idaho with the Rush select team, being one of the girls to be selected for the national team means a lot to me.

To represent Idaho Rush at the National level means a lot to me. It shows that I have done a lot of work to get this opportunity. And if that journey had not been challenging this destination wouldn't be as rewarding. However I need to continue my pursuit of growth. I am proud of my achievement but it doesn't mean I am going to settle for it. Just being from Idaho is a big deal for me as well. I feel Idahoans are often overlooked. However I was lucky enough to be given a chance. A chance to show what Idaho can offer an that to me is an honor.

Having the chance to represent Idaho rush at the Rush National level mean so much to me, more than words can explain. I will take this opportunity and experience and make the most out of it. I will fight every game like its my last. I will represent the club for what it stands for. I will give it everything I've got. Its a real honor to represent Idaho Rush at the next level.
