FREQUENTLY ASKED RUSH RECREATIONAL QUESTIONS

    • What is the easiest way to access all Colorado Rush Soccer Club information?-- www.coloradorush.com – We have a site full of Information. You can almost find anything you are looking for.

    • Where are the U9 and older Home CSA Front Range League Games played?-- For players U6 and older, home games are played at  Lilley Gulch(4v4), and Ken Caryl Community Park (7v7), Green Gables Park (7v7), Woodmar Park (9v9), Carmody Park(9v9).

    • Where/How do I order uniforms?-- Recreational Uniforms.  U6-U8: Each team represents a color.

    • Where/How do I order uniforms?--U9-U19: Each child is required to wear the correct uniform, shin guards, appropriate shoes, and have the correct size soccer ball.  If you already have black shorts and socks you will not have to purchase additional ones. Please use what you already own. We want to reduce the cost of uniforms as much as possible. Uniforms can be ordered here

    • **What if I missed the registration deadline? Can I still get registered?--This depends on the age group and if teams are full.  Please contact the recreational director, Eric Nilius, at [email protected] to inquire about availability.

    • How can my son or daughter be placed with the coach we want or with players we know?-- This can be done through registration with the multiple questions that are asked.  Rush will try to accommodate each request to the best of our ability.

    • What is Blue Friday?--Blue Friday is an exciting program where we host Mighty Mites, Rush Hour, School of Excellence, Friday Night Finishing. Each program caters to a different age group.

    • How can I get my player on a stronger team? / More experienced coach…?--We will do our best to accommodate all requests.  With that in mind, please understand we rely on the generosity and time of volunteer coaches.  They are the lifeblood of our recreational program and do their best to provide a positive environment for the children.  If you’re looking for another level, we do have other avenues to consider at the Intermediate and Competitive levels.

    • When will we be notified about field closure?-- Weather Cancellations – If weather is a concern for practices and games we have several ways to check. Our website is updated by 2:00pm on practice days and 7am on game days. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram will also have all necessary updates.  Makeup schedule for the in-house league (U6-U8) is generally 8 days later, on a Sunday on the same field at the same time the game was originally scheduled. This will be adjusted if the makeup date falls on a major holiday. There can be no reimbursements for games or practices canceled due to weather or forfeits by opposing teams. For U9 and up reschedules please contact Adriana Rosthenhausler at [email protected].

    • Why do we not always have a referee at our games?-- Unfortunately, there is a referee shortage in Colorado.  Rush has no control over the low supply of refs. Referees go through a company called Play the Whistle and sign-up for the games that are convenient for themselves.  Please understand CSA is doing all it can to help with this shortage.

    • Refund Policy! – Colorado Rush refunds registration fees only if you move away from location of the club prior to the start of the season or if the child is unable to participate due to injury or illness as documented by a physician. *No refunds, credits or fee transfers will be allowed for any other reasons. Refunds granted are subject to a $20.00 handling fee for U8 and younger players and $30 for U9 and older players. If we are unable to honor a special request, there will be no refund. Conflicts with practice schedules are not grounds for refunds. If Colorado Rush is unable to place your child on a team, a full refund will be issued. No refunds will be granted after the third scheduled game of the season.  Refund requests due to injury must be made in writing within 2 weeks of injury or illness and must have a doctor’s note included. No reimbursements will be granted for games or practices canceled due to weather, forfeits, or referee absence.

    • Privacy Policy-- As a club, we are only allowed to give out player information/practice and game locations to parents/grandparents on the child’s account.
