Welcome to Cincy East Volleyball tryouts! The goal of every Cincy East tryout, no matter the age, is to create the most thorough, yet efficient talent assessment of each athlete in the gym for determining proper competition level placement. We do welcome all skill levels and dual sport athletes. There are positions available for all teams.

Player Age Group Classification

Your athletes birthday only matters if she is trying out for a National team. All players regardless of their birthday can play at grade level for American and Regional. Click here for the age classifications regarding National teams. 



Note: Please complete in full the registration process explained below. We strongly urge you to pre-register your student athlete for tryouts as this helps us accommodate numbers and plan an effective tryout. With that said, walk-ins are welcomed. Arrive 30 minutes prior for registration. Student athletes are asked to bring all completed paperwork(see below), copy of OVR card, your own water bottle, sanitizer and perhaps a personal hand towel for perspiration. Parents, unfortunately due to health protocols we have to close our tryouts to spectators this season for the first time in our organizations history. You are allowed to walk your student athlete into the facility and assist with registration. Just follow the above mentioned facility protocols. This may change or update at anytime. The staff here at Cincy East truly thanks everyone for their patience.

In order to take part in Cincy East VBC tryouts you must complete the following

1. Registration for the 2021-22 tryout season begins by creating a Blue Sombrero Account at Login/Register. After you are logged in please complete and pay for Tryout Registration under "Programs Available" for your athlete. Please make sure you correctly input your athletes' date of birth as the system will automatically place your athlete in the correct Age Bracket according to OVR Rules. If you need to confirm which age bracket your athlete belongs in you may also use OVR Age Chart available here: OVR Age Regulations 

2. Your athlete must have a "TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP" with any of the USAV Regions (OVR). Last seasons "full membership" is not going to be applicable this year.. You do need a copy of your card for our tryouts. Please Follow this link to register with the OVR: www.OVR.org/Register

Note: Please print a copy of your member card at this time (How to print your card) . We will also accept Pioneer Region memberships just communicate this in advance. The club will also accept walk-in's on tryout day but all paperwork will need to be completed at that time.

3. Read through the reference material and watch the video for Lindsay's Law. Print and sign the Lindsay's Law Form. (Lindsay’s Law)

4. Print and fill out Player Medical Release Form Medical Release Documentation

5. Read The Athletes Bill of Rights
