Create a training pool of 6-10 year old boys and girls players who will train but not play league games yet but may want to in the future. This group is free to try for as long as it takes for a player/family to decide if its something they would like to continue. This group is currently meeting at Union Point in Weymouth Mondays and Fridays 6-730PM. This group will focus on skill building, simple decision making and encouraging competitiveness.
Create new Scorpion boys and girls 2011, 2010, 2009 teams. These teams, created after the traditional start of the year, are known as starter teams and are more inexpensive. They will be roughly half the cost of a typical club team, but with the same benefits.
Continue our 3-5 year old 'tot' clinics. Currently we have a very well attended group in Braintree (Wed and Fri 4PM) to fit the needs of a group in that town who are a little too young to play in the rec league there. We can do the same in other towns. $75 for 1 day per week, $120 for 2 days per week. The clinic is pro-rated as it goes on.
