Footwork Training Worksheet
The Wisconsin Rush Footwork Training Worksheet serves to guide and encourage you to practice on your own. It is a way for you to track your progress, and keep you accountable to the amount of time you are working outside of training to improve as a player.
How does it work?
Every time you spend 6 minutes working on an exercise, check and date the box. Once you have completed 10 boxes (1 hour on a specific exercise) and have mastered the exercise, demonstrate the skill to one of Rush’s Director’s of Coaching and they will initial the box. Always practice with both feet! When you are resting, juggle a ball.
Ways to challenge yourself:
- Increase speed at which you do it. Set goals!
- Time yourself: How many “shuffles” can you do in a minute?
- If you have “mastered” a section or exercise, go back and review and practice it regularly.
- Be creative! Create your own moves or combinations.
