Elite Programs

Minnesota Rush (formerly RYSA)  is very excited to offer our year-round soccer training program aimed to prepare players for the next level of play, collegiate soccer.  The year-round program will prepare your player technically, tactically, physically and psychologically for the demands of collegiate soccer, as well as set out a plan that will help them be identified by various college coaches.

In combination with training in the state of the art Rochester Regional Dome, we have put together lecture and classroom sessions focusing on
  • Nutrition
  • Introduction to being recruited and first steps

We are also excited to team up with EXOS and Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center to provide players with elite-level performance training and medical support. EXOS has an extensive history with soccer performance training, and has supported many elite level teams, including the German Men's National Team (2014 World Cup Champions) and various MLS organizations. Along with Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center, they provide the finest systems, specialists, and facilities that are seamlessly integrated to efficiently and ethically enhance our athletes' performance.

Neil Cassidy, Technical / Soccer Operations Director, is a college coach and will be your advisor before, during and after the process of choosing a college that is the right fit, both academically and athletically. He will help with recruiting videos, recruiting questions as well as how you should contact and follow up with collegiate coaches. Advising sessions will take the form of group and one on one sessions.

We realize that many of you enjoy and play high school sports, therefore we do not want to take you away from that experience. As you can see from our calendar, we have structured our training so that there is minimal cross over between high school sports both in the winter and the spring.

The coach of the team is going to be one of our senior coaches with at least a National USSF 'C' License, a coach who has gone through over 125 hours of training and testing to have been awarded the 'C' License. We look forward to seeing you at our tryouts and please do not hesitate to call us with any questions!
