OFFICIAL CLUB STATEMENT

Dear Cedar Stars Players/Families

We hope you all are safe and healthy during these difficult times. Given the situation with everything going on regarding COVID-19 we understand that you may have many questions and concerns about the rest of our season and when we would resume our normal training schedule. For the time being we have only gotten word that our DDL(Dynamo Dash League) has gotten cancelled for the remainder of the spring season. That is the only league that has given us official communication. Otherwise all other leagues that we are participating in and as well as tournaments/showcases are looking at the possibility of further rescheduling when the situation improves. We are in constant contact with all State soccer league governing bodies as well as any tournament/showcase officials as we figure out the next steps.

As a club we are aware of the situation and have taken the appropriate measures to send and set up online training videos and exercises in partnership with Rush Soccer. We have also decided that we would like to make up all missed training sessions as soon as it is deemed safe to resume all group activities in our community. As soon as we have better clarity on a timeframe from our local authorities we will send out a schedule that will be open to all of our Houston players across the board for all ages. Our teams who were participating in DDL/Other Leagues Spring seasons will have friendly matches to make up for the games that were cancelled.
