Rush Soccer is excited to announce the Rush Soccer Mentor Program 2019/20 class.
"This year saw the program receive the highest ever number of applicants, which tell us that not only is the program something people want to be a part of, but also that our selection process needed to be spot on," says Matt Saul, Director of Coach Education for Rush Soccer.
Six candidates were picked to be a part of the program as mentees this year. They are partnered with six well known and respected leaders from across Rush Nation as their mentors.

What is the Mentor Program?
In January 2017, Rush Soccer Coaching Education launched a six-month pilot program for developing coaches called the Mentor Program. The program received rave reviews and Rush Soccer will now continue to support Rush coaches from anywhere within Rush Nation with a full Mentor Program.
The Mentor Program is a 10 month-long education and mentorship opportunity for a select number of Rush coaches. This program was created to support standout coaches, develop their understanding of the Rush Way, foster their desire for self-development, and help them reach the pinnacle of the coaching profession.
Components of the Rush Soccer Mentor Program
- Exclusive guided access to Coaching Education Mentor Program Classroom materials and Rush Soccer documentation
- Exclusive online group hangouts with nationally and internationally recognized guests
- Assigned mentor from within Rush Soccer, helping mentees best align their coaching goals with what the Rush Soccer organization offers
- Apprentice coach role with the Rush Select Program at Rush Select events (financial support provided for travel and accommodation)
- Coaching development at Rush Summit and Rush Fest in July 2020 (financial support provided for travel and accommodation)
