About Coach Gonzalez:
Greg has been coaching in the Valley for 20 years. He began his coaching career at the YMCA and soon graduated into Club Soccer and High School competition. In 2008, Greg, along with a small, dedicated staff, ventured out and created what we know today as Total Futbol Academy – Barcelona AZ. Greg has been the Club President and Director for the past 8 years and along with his staff, has been committed to developing players and teaching FC Barcelona’s Philosophy and Style of Play since their affiliation and inception in 2010. With this honor, Greg and his staff have had the privilege of attending multiple training courses in Barcelona, hosted by their Escola Directors and Staff. Greg is excited to bring those philosophies and a methodology learned, to NSFC and is eager to spread the culture that has provided Barcelona AZ with success in developing players both on and off the field. He currently holds a National “D” license certificate for coaching and will be continuing his education and licensing in the US and abroad.
