About Coach Whitehead:
Doug has been coaching soccer for 10 years. He began coaching at the Gilbert Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) in 2008 at U08 level and received the US Soccer Y Certificate for U06-U10 age groups. After a move to Columbus Ohio in 2011, he started coaching in the youth academy U08-U10 at Elite FC in Marysville Ohio. He served as a boys’ academy director and coach for 3 years at Elite as well as an assistant coach for the Elite FC 03 Girls. Moving back to Arizona in 2014, Doug and his family joined TFA Barcelona AZ where he has coached in the Academy and led the 05B team in 2016-17 season. Doug currently holds a US Soccer E License.
