Thank you for choosing UPTOWN as your home league for the upcoming 2019 Fall Baseball Season.
Before registering, please keep in mind that EVERYONE PLAYS and
all registered players will be placed on a team.
Our program has no boundaries, so all families from Long Beach and surrounding areas are welcomed.
We also allow coach/teammate requests during fall ball.
Local rec teams are also encouraged to sign up.

FALL BASEBALL SEASON DETAILS
Last day to register will be Monday, September 2nd, 2019.
Teams will be formed soon after registration closes and begin practicing first week of September 2019.
Games will begin Saturday, Sept. 21st 2019.
Expect 1-2 games per week with weekend games on Saturday or Sunday.
In order to get more games on schedule, some local travel may be required.
PLAYING DIVISIONS
Fall Baseball players are placed in playing divisions according to the Spring 2020 Playing Age Chart.
Average Playing Ages*
- Tee Ball = 4 to 5 years old (Must turn 4 on or before April 30, 2020)
- Rookie/FARM (Machine Pitch) = 6 to 7 years old
- AA (Kid Pitch) = 7 to 8 years old
- AAA = 9 to 10 years old
- Majors 50/70 = 11 to 12 years old
Playing Age Notes - 12 year old must play in the Majors 50/70 Division.
* The League reserves the right to place any player into the playing division that meets their playing ability *

NO PLAYER EVALUATIONS FOR FALL
PAYMENT
All registration fees must be paid in full in order to be placed on team.
Walk up registration dates will be available at Cherry Park.

SNACK SHACK/VOLUNTEER REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
$40.00 per registered player.
For each registered player, a $40.00 Snack Shack/Volunteer Deposit will be assessed,
which will be refunded when a family member completes one 3-hour Snack Shack shift.
SNACK SHACK BUYOUT
Uptown will be offering a Snack Shack BUYOUT for an additional $20.00 for those that do not wish to work
a Snack Shack shift.
FUNDRAISER/RAFFLE TICKET DEPOSIT
No fundraisers during Fall Baseball
LATE REGISTRATION
No late registration ... Registration will close September 2nd, 2019.
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT / SIBLING DISCOUNT
Not utilized during Fall Baseball
REFUND POLICY
The last day to request a refund will be the DAY PRIOR to the close of registration.
All requests must be made in writing to the Treasurer & President.
Refunds will only be considered for injured players, whose baseball playing ability is affected.
If eligible, refunds will be issued "less" online transaction fees.
It is the League’s prerogative to keep any portion or all of a registration fee if a player
opts out of the season after the player has been placed on a team.
TEAMMATE/COACH REQUEST
Teammate/Coach requests are allowed in Fall Baseball, when available.

We do ask that full Intact Travel Teams do not enter as the goal is to keep
