Lakewood Kidz is a program for 3 year old to 7 year old kids.  We follow the U.S. Soccer Grassroots program which is designed to help our kids develop in a fun environment.  We play "small sided" games, meaning we only have four players on the field at a time to allow a better experience for both players and coaches.  The main goal at this age level is to get the kids familiar with the basics of the game and, most of all, to have fun.  We concentrate on keeping the kids active while at practice.  Smaller teams mean less time waiting in lines and more time touching the ball.
