Important information for 2025

Opening Day- each year we have an “opening day” ceremony for all the teams. This usually includes a small parade around the facility, some friendly games, gift basket raffles, an introduction of our players, coaches and sponsors for the season. It is a great experience and an awesome way to get acquainted with your child’s team and coaches. Stay tuned for the date!

Practices and Team Reach- each coach will be given a roster and will text or call you with a Team Reach code to enter. Please make sure you download the app and check the notifications for practices and game schedules.

Equipment- spikes (sneakers are ok for t-ball), a helmet that is labeled with your child’s name, gray baseball pants, glove and bat. We do have a well-stocked lending locker and you can access that anytime, just ask your coach or a board member. If you have any equipment your child has outgrown, please donate it back to us so we can keep our locker full.

Fundraising- fundraisers are essential to the running of our baseball operation, just in the past few years we have worked hard and raised enough money to purchase and finish a state-of-the-art training facility. We will ask for your donations and most importantly your help with all our planned campaigns throughout the season. We need YOU!

Meetings- our monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month and are open to the parents and families. The times and specific dates are posted on our Facebook page. If you have any issues or suggestions, please join us.

All Stars- Each July CLL is represented in the District 32 All Star tournaments. The winner of this tournament moves on to the regional level and can make their way to Williamsport to play in the Little League World Series. Traditionally, CLL selects a team of 11 and 12 year-olds and well as a team of 8, 9 and 10 year-olds. Try outs and player evaluation information will be given to you by your coach. Our teams consist of players from both Forest City and Carbondale and we look forward to this each year!

Banquet- Each year we have an end of the season party to celebrate. Families are encouraged to attend. Graduating players and All Stars will receive special awards.
