Executive Director and Founder: Ken Goffstein brings a wealth of experience to the Bergen County Girls Flag Football League. Ken has been involved with organized flag football for over 10 years.  He has volunteered and coached youth sports in Bergen County for over 25 years. Ken has also coached TBO baseball in Teaneck, NJ, Teaneck Soccer and the Mitch Gross Basketball League (MGBL). Like his co-commissioners in this league, Ken has several core values that he says defines the objectives of the BCFL. Sportsmanship, fair play for all participants, honesty, integrity and making it fun! When Ken is not coaching or working as a mortgage loan originator for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., he manages to find time to deliver food packages for Tomchei Shabbos of Bergen County – a poverty alleviation organization.  Ken and his wife Lena enjoy traveling and spending time with their children – especially the family outings to sporting events.

Co-commissioner: Rabbi Yehoshua Gold is a tremendous sports fan! He loves the Lakers, Orioles, Commanders, Capitals. He is the director of Camp Shalom NJ. During the school year, Rabbi Gold is the Associate Director of the Maor Yeshiva High School, a division of The Sinai Schools. He currently lives in Teaneck, NJ with his wife Leah, sons Yosi, Tzvi, and Azi, and daughter Sari. Rabbi Gold is committed to providing an outstanding experience for every child that participates in our Flag Football League!

Co-commissioner: Leora (Berkowitz) Sulimanoff has been playing sports for as long as she can remember.  She’s also a huge Buffalo Bills Fan. While she still loves to play sports, she also enjoys coaching basketball, hockey, soccer and now football!  Leora is the director of student activities and phys Ed teacher in the Yeshivat Noam middle school.  In the summer, she is the head of sports at Moshava Ba'ir. She lives with her husband and five children in Teaneck.
