Welcome to Smithsburg Youth Athletics Tackle Football Cheerleading!!
A cheerleader is a member of a team that performs synchronized cheers and dance routines, usually from the sidelines of a game.
The best cheerleaders are extremely strong and flexible, with a great sense of rhythm.

2023 Summer Cheer Camp for ALL!
Come join us Tuesday June 6th through Thursday June 8th from 6-8pm at the Veterans Park. All levels of cheerleaders are welcome!! Children will be working with coaches on safety, stunting, jumps, dances, motions, cheers, voices, and some tumbling.
Girls should bring plenty of water, small snack, and wear workout attire. Even if you don't want to cheer through the season, you can join us for some summer fun. A Separate Registration is $25 from ages 5 to 8th grade. If you are in High School and you cheered you can come out and help.
Tackle Football Cheerleading details:
- Practices during the week
-Practice starts 2nd week in July
- Cheer at 9 games held on Sunday afternoons
-Home Games will be played in Smithsburg or surrounding area (KYFCL League).

- cheerleaders will participate in the Cheerfest competitions in October, Parades, and Smithsburg Days Fun Tent, and High School Games
- Ages 5-14, cheer for appropriate levels
- uniform provided
- a physical within the past year is required
- items to be purchased, shoes, socks, bloomers, and black winter long sleeve shirt

2/15 - 5/31 $40
6/1 - 6/31 $60
after 7/31 $85
Pets are prohibited on all school property.
