SYF NO TOLERANCE POLICY
All members involved in the operations of SYF activities are volunteers donating their time with a goal of ensuring your child has a wonderful and safe experience. Officials are paid for their work during games, but are not professionals and are also participating to ensure your child has a wonderful and safe experience.

SYF has a no tolerance policy for verbal or physical abuse of volunteers, officials and fans. If you are found to be abusive in any way, during games, practices or outside of football activities towards a volunteer of SYF, officials or fans you will be asked to remove yourself from the SYF activity premises immediately. If you refuse, law enforcement will be contacted and trespassing charges may ensue, as well as potential suspension of you and/or your child(ren) from league activities.

The Board of Directors retains full authority to suspend you, your guests and/or your child(ren) from SYF participation based on the severity or ongoing nature of abuse.

SYF GEAR ISSUE POLICY 
A $200 refundable deposit, in the form of a check made out to Stanwood Youth Football, will be required upon issuance of Helmet, Shoulder Pads and Practice Pants. The check will be securely held by the league until the Final Gear Issue Return Date. If all requested gear is not returned by the Final Gear Issue Return Date the check will be deposited. The deposit check will be returned to the issuer upon receipt of returned gear.
A certified copy of the athletes Birth Certificate will be required at gear issue.

SYF REFUND POLICY
It is the policy of the STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL that no refunds are allowed after a child has played in a sanctioned game or practice. Full refunds will be offered if cancellation is received by us either through our registration system and/or in writing to [email protected] by 6/30. If cancellation occurs on or after 7/1 and is before a sanctioned game or practice, refund of the registration fee will be given LESS an administrative handling fee of $50 and associated equipment/jersey costs incurred by STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL on behalf of player.

FAMILY DISCOUNT
If you register more than one player in one of our divisions your family will receive a $50 discount on the second player registered. For every player after that, a $50 discount will be awarded per player.

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT

All equipment provided must be NOCSAE certified and kept current on re-certification. Documentation must be provided, which will be then be approved by STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL before use. Keeping in practice with Stanwood High School's policy on personal equipment, if player uses their personal helmet, and is planning on using it for the next season, said helmet must be turned into SYF at the end of season and stored safely by SYF for the upcoming season. This ensures that proper recertification is in order. 

PRIVACY POLICY
STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL only collects personal information when you request our services and only uses the information collected to provide those services for you. If you choose to make a purchase, you will be asked to provide contact information (such as your name and shipping address) and financial information (such as your credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process your order. STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL handles all of this data with the utmost confidentiality.

THIRD PARTIES
Any personal information provided will not be traded, rented, sold or otherwise shared with anyone outside of STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL, or used for reasons beyond those contemplated in this statement. From time to time, we may engage third parties to process your information on our behalf; however, none of STANWOOD YOUTH FOOTBALL affiliates (such as our credit card company) have permission to retain, share, store or use personal information for any reason other than providing the requested service.

SECURITY
To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure and improper use of your information, we have established appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect the information we collect in accordance with our privacy policy.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet." (etc.)

Furthermore, your credit card number, expiration date and CSV code is never stored in our systems.

Our systems are routinely scanned by a third party provider for security vulnerabilities in compliance with the policies of VISA / MASTERCARD.
