Required Equipment- Women's lacrosse stick: please make sure that you purchase a women's lacrosse stick; women's and men's lacrosse sticks differ significantly.
- Goggles or helmet: players must wear either goggles meeting SEI safety standard ASTM 3077-17 or a helmet with integrated goggles meeting both the ASTM 3077-17 and the 3137 safety standards (the Cascade LX women's headgear meets these standards).
- Mouthguard: must be a visible color - NOT WHITE OR CLEAR.
- Cleats: Any cleats will do. We do not recommend playing lacrosse in sneakers or running shoes.
Optional Equipment- Gloves: players have the option to wear close-filling gloves for additional protection and warmth. Boy's padded lacrosse gloves are not permitted.
- Layers: lacrosse in the PNW, particularly in early spring, can be very cold and very wet. Please dress your players in layers. It's easy to take off a layer if she's foo warm, and it's hard to be anything but miserable if she's too cold and too wet.
- Garbage bags: If your player brings a backpack to practice or just loose-carries a sweatshirt, have her bring a garbage bag along as a cheap and easy way to keep her stuff dry if it rains.

If you want to try out equipment in person, there are not many options in the Seattle area. Dicks' Sporting Goods and Lacrosse Wolf carry a selection of women's lacrosse sticks and equipment (currently Lacrosse Wolf's Eastside location has a better selection than the new Northgate location). Otherwise, there are are number of places to shop online. We have included a few in our links section below.
