The BSC Fireworks Coordinator (FC) is responsible for preparing, working, and closing our fireworks stand.  The FC must have good decision making and problem-solving skills and should provide friendly customer service. As a FC you will be expected to be available 8-10 hours a day (everyday) from June 24 (setup) through July 4th (late closing).  The more coordinators we have, the more we can spread out and minimize the hour requirement. 

The Fireworks Coordinator(s) will be responsible for the following:

1. Sign initial paperwork with Bellino – approx. late April

2. Attend the Bellino preparation meeting – approx. early-mid June

3. Create a volunteer signup sheet – we use Signup Genius. 

4. Coordinate with BSC Board to get emails notifications out to all potential volunteers.  This should be complete by June 1st          

5. Conduct opening inventory and setup fireworks stand -- use Bellino set up procedures

6. Must be able to lift boxes on and off semi- trailer

7. Use an iPad register for all sales transactions - trained by Bellino.  Train volunteers as required on iPad register procedures.

8. Keep a record of volunteer hours and daily sales totals – transcribe data to excel spreadsheets

9. Conduct closing inventory – this occurs late on the 4th of July after 11 pm

10. Empty tent and load trailer according to Bellino guidelines after closing inventory

11. Sign final reconciliation paperwork with Bellino – approx. mid Sept.  Provide paperwork and checks to Treasurer.

Our fireworks stand is located in front of the Bakers at the intersection of Galvin Rd and Harvell Rd in Bellevue.  This is an ideal location for the local community and our sales volume reflects such.
