BCLL Summer Sandlot Registration

We hope you’ve enjoyed the 2025 Spring Season. If your player doesn't want the fun to end and
they’re looking forward to more baseball, you're in luck. We will be organizing a "second
season" of Summer Sandlot baseball with neighboring Little Leagues (i.e., Fraternal Northwest
and Northeast Little League).

Registration is now open until June 29, 2025. Signup if you’re interested as registration time is
very limited so we can check the level of interest and ensure schedules and uniforms can be
ordered before games start. This will be co-ed baseball and regular season play is not a
requirement so pass this along to anyone who wants to play!!

Coaches are needed for each division. We need to fill at least one team per division and have an
established coach. If there isn’t enough commitment, you’ll be given the option to play in town
or be refunded your registration fee.

Registration Fee - $35 Sandlot 1, $40 Sandlot 2, $45 Majors - per player to cover costs for
umpires, field maintenance, and your new Sandlot shirt that’s yours to keep!!

Dates: Early-July to Early-August
Divisions: CO-ED – your player will automatically be assigned a division based on their
birthdate - baseball age. If you would like for them to play up or down in another division, please
send an email to [email protected] after completing registration.

Sandlot 1 (6 – 8-year-olds). Soft compression balls and 40’ pitching. Player pitch with coaches
stepping in after 4 balls. Games tentatively on Mondays and Wednesdays – Start time 6pm

Sandlot 2 (9 – 10-year-olds) 8’s if participated in minors during the regular season. Player pitch
with coaches stepping in after 4 balls (9’s and 10’s not eligible if selected for all-stars).
Games tentatively on Tuesdays and Thursdays – Start time 6pm

Majors Division (Baseball 11 – 12-year-olds). All the rules of Majors in a relaxed, instructive
atmosphere. Games tentatively on Mondays and Wednesdays. – Start time 6pm

Depending on the number of registered players, the teams might be composed of players from a
single League (e.g., BCLL) or players might be mixed to ensure an even distribution of players
by team. Games will typically last between 90-120 minutes.
