Hello from OYS,
Due to repeat requests, the OYS Board of Directors have decided to create a new Division, split off from the U06 Division that is designed for 4 year old children. This new Division is called Pre-K COED. This means that your child will be transferred in our registration system from the current U06 COED Division to the new Pre-K COED Division if the birthdate falls within that division. The Pre-K COED Division is now available in the Player Registration.
As with many changes, we understand that there may be questions and/or concerns. But please allow us to put most, if not all of these to rest. The following list is what you can expect in regards to this change.
* This will not require you, the parent/guardian to do anything related to registration if already registered.
* 24 Hours after this email has been sent, age appropriate "Pre-K" division children will be transferred out of U06 COED and into the new division Pre-K COED.
* You will receive a confirmation of the transfer once it has been completed.
* Any parent/guardian is still welcomed to make special requests, as was available in the past, to move a child up or down a division based on skill level or for any other valid reason.
* All requests must be made to the OYS President by email eholmes.[email protected]
* If you have made a special request, a discussion among the Board of Directors will occur and the President will notify you of the Board's decision.
* THIS WILL NOT CHANGE the normal scheduled times for the Pre-K COED Division games. They will occur concurrently with the U06 COED Division from 8am to 9am on Saturdays.
