Weeks 6 
Practice Plan and Objectives:
- FUNdamental Skills for the Game - Dribbling- find green grass (open space without traffic/defenders) - Laces- push the ball forward and run 
- Sole- rolling the ball in either direction  
 
- Ball Control - Inside of Foot- turning the ball 
- Sole- stopping the ball before it goes OUT OF BOUNDS 
 
 
Practice - 45 to 60 minutes
- 5-10 Minutes- Warm Up with Bees and wasps - Play the game as is for 1-2 rounds 
 
WATER BREAK
- 10-12 Minutes-Alien Activity - Reinforce using laces to ‘pass’ the ball and bite the space invaders. 
- Play a couple rounds with the players as aliens and space invaders and then play a couple rounds with the players trying to ‘bite’ the parents (as space invaders).   
 
The more you can involve the parents, the better!
     WATER BREAK
- 10-12 Minutes- Red Light, Green Light but with Game Twist! - Every player with a ball and Coach Calls out: - Green Light = “NEW BALL!” Dribble fast with Laces 
- Yellow Light = Dribble slow with Inside of feet 
- Red Light = “FREEZE!” Stop the ball with Sole 
 
 
WATER BREAK
- 10-12 Minutes- Play the Game!  - Remember to ROLL the ball on the ground for NEW BALL - Roll the ball to players that haven’t touched the ball much and encourage them to stop the ball when it comes to them. 
- Roll the ball into space if all of the players are bunching up in one area. 
 
- Coach the players with the ball on dribbling, turning, and stopping the ball  
- Celebrate after any goal is scored!!
